Professor Alan Davidson is a kidney researcher at the University of Auckland whose work focuses on understanding the cellular and genetic causes of kidney disease and developing new treatments. His research combines human stem cell-derived kidney organoids, genome editing and animal models to study kidney development, injury and disease.
