Uru-Manuka Williams (Rongomaiwahine, Ngāti Kahungunu ki Te Wairoa) is the current Kaitautoko  to the Kaiārahi and Te Amorangi for the Maurice Wilkins Centre. She brings a strong background in Te Ao Māori and science education, underpinned by a Bachelor of Science, a Postgraduate Diploma, and a Master of Science.

Uru-Manuka has extensive experience in applying kaupapa Māori aspects within outreach settings, with a strong focus on advancing Māori outcomes and fostering rangatahi engagement in science.
